The complete blueprint for the Punto Cero Program
180 Days
A science-backed approach to personal transformation, built on Identity Shift Theory, Body Recomposition, Accelerated Learning and Environmental Psychology.
180 days is not an arbitrary number. It is the minimum period needed for new behavioural patterns to move from conscious effort into automatic habits that make up your new identity.
According to Identity Shift Theory (Gonzales & Hancock, 2008), a shift in self-concept happens through the public self-presentation of a new self-image. When you start acting as the new version of yourself, your brain gradually internalises that identity.
Research by Dr. Wendy Wood (Duke University) shows that nearly 50% of human behaviour occurs in the same locations and contexts — driven not by conscious choice but by environmental triggers. That means changing your environment matters more than trying to force more willpower.
Body recomposition research confirms that meaningful changes in body composition (losing fat and building muscle at the same time) require 6–12 months of consistent work. 180 days is the point where the results become visually undeniable.
The protocol rests on 6 interconnected pillars. They do not work in isolation — each amplifies the others. Identity shift gives you the foundation. Physical transformation creates visible proof of change. Skills give you leverage. Environment removes friction. Psychological fortification protects against relapse. Social recalibration locks in the new normal.
Rebuilding who you are
Core insight
Behaviour follows identity, not the other way around. If you see yourself as someone who is "trying to lose weight", you will sabotage yourself. If you see yourself as "an athlete", the decisions make themselves.
Self-Perception Theory (Daryl Bem, 1972). People form their self-image by observing their own behaviour. If you watch yourself train every day, you start to believe you are "someone who trains". It works both ways: negative patterns reinforce a negative identity just as strongly.
Cognitive Dissonance Reduction. When actions clash with your self-concept, discomfort arises and the brain seeks to resolve the conflict. If the new behaviour is public and consistent enough, the brain would rather change the self-concept than abandon the behaviour.
Identity-Based Habit Formation (James Clear). Every action is a vote for the type of person you want to become. Accumulating these votes gradually forms a new identity. The key is consistency, not intensity.
Step 1: Identity Audit (Days 1–3). Take an inventory of your current beliefs, patterns and habits:
Step 2: Identity Document (Days 4–7). Write a one-page profile of the person you are becoming. Include:
| Category | Description |
|---|---|
| Values | The top 5 principles the new version lives by |
| Habits | The new version’s daily non-negotiables |
| Style | How they dress, speak and carry themselves |
| Energy | The energy they bring into a room |
| Priorities | How they allocate time and attention |
| Character Flaws | The flaws even the new version has (stay realistic) |
Step 3: Contradiction Elimination (Days 8–14). Audit everything that contradicts the new identity:
Step 4: Act As If (Day 15+). From day one, behave as if the transformation has already happened:
| When | Practice | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Morning | Identity affirmation reading | 5 min |
| Throughout the day | Log moments of aligned behaviour | as it happens |
| Evening | Reflection: where did I vote for the new version today? | 10 min |
Physical transformation
Core insight
Your body is the receipt of your discipline. Physical transformation creates visible proof of change that is impossible to ignore — momentum that bleeds into every area of life.
Body Recomposition Research. According to meta-analyses (Frontiers in Nutrition, 2024), simultaneous fat loss and muscle gain are possible when key conditions are met:
Realistic Expectations. Over 6 months, with the right approach, it is realistic to lose 6–12% body fat, gain 3–5 kg of lean muscle mass and significantly increase strength. Visible changes become obvious by weeks 8–12.
| Day | Session type | Focus |
|---|---|---|
| Monday | Upper Body Push | chest, shoulders, triceps |
| Tuesday | Lower Body | quads, hamstrings, glutes |
| Wednesday | LISS Cardio | 45–60 min incline walk |
| Thursday | Upper Body Pull | back, biceps, rear delts |
| Friday | Full Body / Weak Points | compound movements |
| Saturday | Active Recovery | walk, stretching, mobility |
| Sunday | Rest | full rest or light activity |
Non-Negotiables. Rules with no exceptions:
| Macronutrient | Amount | Sources |
|---|---|---|
| Protein | 1.8–2.2 g/kg | meat, fish, eggs, cottage cheese |
| Carbs | 2–4 g/kg (cycling) | rice, oats, vegetables, fruit |
| Fats | 0.8–1 g/kg | olive oil, nuts, avocado |
Meal Structure. Maximum consistency through repeating meals:
Elimination List. What to cut:
Accelerating your skills
Core insight
Skills are practical power. The right skills open doors the old version of you could not even see. The key is ruthless focus on one skill at a time.
Ask yourself three questions:
High-Income Skills 2025. Benchmarks for time to first revenue:
| Skill | Time to Monetize | Entry Point |
|---|---|---|
| Copywriting | 4–8 weeks | Freelance / Agency |
| Sales | 2–4 weeks | Commission-based roles |
| Video Editing | 6–10 weeks | Content creators |
| Paid Advertising | 8–12 weeks | SMBs, e-commerce |
| AI / Automation | 4–8 weeks | Productivity consulting |
Phase 1: Immersion (Days 1–7). Total immersion:
Phase 2: First Project (Days 8–21). A real project, not a practice one:
Phase 3: Iteration (Days 22–60). Ship → Feedback → Fix → Repeat:
Phase 4: Monetization (Days 61–90). Package the result into an offer:
70-20-10 Rule. How to split your learning time:
Output Targets. 90-day output targets:
Re-engineering your environment
Core insight
Environment always beats willpower in the long run. You do not rise to the level of your goals — you fall to the level of your systems and surroundings.
Research by Dr. Wendy Wood (Duke University) shows that around 50% of human behaviour happens automatically, triggered by environmental cues. When students moved to a new university, they changed habits more easily because the old triggers disappeared.
According to BJ Fogg’s Behavior Model: Behavior = Motivation + Ability + Prompt. Environment controls both Ability (how easy an action is) and Prompt (what triggers the action).
Home Environment. Remove friction for what helps, add friction for what hurts:
| Remove (Friction UP) | Add (Friction DOWN) |
|---|---|
| junk food from the house | meal-prep containers on display |
| TV out of the bedroom | books on the nightstand |
| old clothes | gym bag by the door |
| objects of the old identity | vision board / Identity document on display |
Workspace Environment. Tune your workspace:
Immediate Actions. Do this right away:
Content Diet. Rebuild your information diet:
Sometimes the only way to break old patterns is to physically leave the environment where they formed. A new city, a new apartment, a new country is a reset button for your habits. You build routines from scratch, with no ghosts of the past.
Psychological fortification
Core insight
The mind is the command centre of the whole transformation. If it is fragile, the entire system collapses under pressure. Psychological fortification is the difference between those who shine for a few months and those who stay dangerous for decades.
According to research (PMC, 2023), resilience is not a static personality trait but a trainable outcome. Its key components: self-awareness, emotional regulation, stress inoculation and a sense of purpose.
Military Stress Inoculation Training research shows that controlled exposure to stressors builds a conditioned response that improves decision-making under pressure.
| Practice | Description | When |
|---|---|---|
| Morning Stillness | 10 min of meditation or simply sitting in silence | morning |
| Cold Exposure | cold shower 2–5 min — voluntary discomfort | morning |
| Journaling | reflection: where did I act from strength, where from weakness | evening |
| Trigger Audit | identifying the day’s emotional triggers | evening |
Set 3–5 daily non-negotiables — actions you do no matter what, even on your worst days:
Create mental scripts for moments of weakness:
Schedule voluntary discomfort every week:
Recalibrating your circle
Core insight
Your circle sets your ceiling. If the people around you tolerate mediocrity, mediocrity becomes a gravitational pull that is impossible to resist.
Research on social selection and peer influence (PNAS, 2011) shows that the strongest predictor of forming a friendship is mere propinquity (proximity). People living in the same building are 166% more likely to become friends.
Network proximity research shows that behaviour spreads through social ties even between people who are not direct friends (the friends-of-friends effect).
List everyone you interact with weekly. Give each a score:
| Score | Criterion | Action |
|---|---|---|
| +1 | pushes you forward, challenges you, operates at a higher level | Increase proximity |
| 0 | neutral — neither helps nor hinders | Maintain at current level |
| −1 | pulls you back, normalises mediocrity, drains energy | Reduce or eliminate contact |
Reduce −1 Contacts. No drama needed:
Increase +1 Contacts. Invest in proximity:
Your social feed is part of your circle. Every account you follow is a voice in your head:
Focus: Setting up the base systems, elimination of contradictions, the beginning of physical transformation.
Focus: Building streaks, first visible results, skill iteration.
Focus: Compounding results, skill monetisation, social proof.
Focus: Solidification, scaling, preparation for long-term sustainability.
What gets measured gets managed. Track these metrics daily, weekly and monthly so progress stays objective instead of a feeling.
